Risk Factors - Smoking

One Scot dies every hour due to smoking -
Stopping is essential now

If you cannot stop at once, you may find it easier to cut down for a couple of weeks first, by having your first cigarette later each day.

There is only one FIRST day without cigarettes. Each day is a separate battle to be fought and won.

Each successive day after you stop, the risk of a heart attack reduces by a little bit more.

Many health centres now run anti-smoking clinics so if you need help why not ask.
