Smoking

If you’re a smoker, stopping is the single most important thing you can do to reduce the risk of cardiovascular and respiratory disease.

Each successive day after you stop, the risk of a heart attack reduces by a little bit more.

There is a lot of help available for you - ask your GP, Practice Nurse or at your local health centre or pharmacy.
